Personal data, as far as they are collected here at all, are confidential and will not be disclosed to third parties, unless it is indispensable by an official order, a law or for the fulfillment of a contract.
Please bear in mind that the transmission of data via the Internet may be subject to security vulnerabilities. Full protection against access by third parties is not possible.
Access data
We collect data about accesses to the site and store them as “server log files”. The following data is logged in this way:
- Visited website
- Time at the time of access
- Amount of data sent in bytes
- Source/reference from which you came to the page
- Browser used
- Operating system used
- IP address used
This data is stored for security reasons, for example to detect an attack on the integrity of the server. The website operator reserves the right to check the server log files retrospectively if there are concrete indications of illegal use.
The hosting provider is Strato with server location in Germany. Data is not passed on to companies in third countries.
Statistics
The web server log files are evaluated by the responsible party in the form of statistics. In doing so, the IP addresses are completely anonymized and hashed, so that identification is made impossible. The statistics are evaluated with the aim of continuously improving the information offered.
Handling of personal data
The website operator collects, uses and discloses your personal data only if this is permitted by law or if you consent to the collection of such data.
Personal data includes all information that can be used to identify you personally and that can be traced back to you – for example, your name, e-mail address and telephone number.
Handling of contact data
If you contact the website operator using the contact options provided, your details will be stored so that they can be used to process and respond to your request.
Use of social media plugins
This website has social media plugins. The plugins are integrated using the C’t Shariff code. This means that as long as you do not click on one of the buttons to share, like or otherwise post, no data is transmitted to a social media service. Only after you have actively clicked on the relevant button will data be transmitted to the respective social service. Without your conscious and deliberate activity, no cookie is set, the social media cannot recognize that you have visited these pages.
Inquiries via contact forms
Inquiries via the contact form are made in encrypted form. The generated mail is stored for 30 days for processing your request. If no contractual relationship is established within this period, the mail is then automatically deleted. A separate request for deletion is not necessary in this case.
Rights of the user: information, correction and deletion
As a user, you can request information free of charge about what personal data has been stored about you. Provided that your request does not conflict with a legal obligation to retain data (e.g. data retention), you have a right to have incorrect data corrected and to have your personal data blocked or deleted.
